A third-party platform calls this interface to check whether a new version is currently available. The interface returns
latest_version = truewhen a new version can be upgraded, andfalsewhen no new version is available. Note: the latest version of the cloud-printing client must be upgraded or installed to fully use this feature.
Note: This feature is available only after upgrading or installing the latest version of the cloud-printing client (confirm the client version with the official technical team).

Source note: The example
msgvalue "下载客户端日志成功" (Client log downloaded successfully) is a copy-paste leftover from the device-log document and does not match this interface's semantics. A semantically consistent message for this interface would read like "New version check successful" (e.g. 检查新版本成功). The example is reproduced faithfully but flagged here.
