Start Printing

Confirm start when needed — applies only when the device is set to secondary confirmation.

Before You Start

Prepare an onboarded device, its device ID and secret key, an accessible image URL, and the actual print dimensions. Keep the secret key on the server side; never embed it in a web page.

Submitting successfully does not mean printing is finished. Save the returned task ID; only when the device is set to secondary confirmation do you need to additionally call "Start Printing".

Third-party platforms call the Start Printing interface (/api/Printer/startPrint) to send a start-printing command to a designated device. After receiving the command, the open platform connects to the printer to execute the print operation and returns the print status synchronously. Special note: when a device requires secondary confirmation for a job, this interface must be called again for the device to complete the job's printing.
